THE MID-WEEK SESSIONS

As our hugely successful Midweek Sessions come to a close this Wednesday evening, organizer Tom Jobling had the following to say:

Trevor Edwards after his presentation at East Antrim Boat Club

As I step away from the MID-WEEK SESSIONS concept I am so excited at being able to bring down to the 'Club, to you my fellow members, this incredible, super talented collective of young musicians, soloists and performers.  They will demonstrate by way of an intimate concert what is so special about this incredible local music coaching centre; Larne's acclaimed MUSIC YARD will be live at EABC next week!

Individually - from the youngest upwards - this collective of musical talent now invites you to witness, close-up why they are 'turning heads'.  Thomas Hamilton, one of the Music Yard coaches said. "One of our aims, when we opened our doors was to provide a safe, fun, all inclusive area for people of all abilities to enjoy and experience the joy of music  We have more than surpassed that.  I've played the Boat Club many years ago. I just love the place, and in turn your members will love these kids. Bring a tissue.

Dear member, do not miss this one-off opportunity to witness everything that is good - nay - great about Larne youth and especially the MUSIC YARD.  As such, Wednesday the 20th November at the 'Boat Club will be very much, a 'family night' of music, song and performance.

It will however be a night of mixed emotions for me: on one hand a sadness that the programme has run its course, while on the other, hugely rewarding. Great speakers and performances and of course superb support from you the EABC membership, and other neighbourhood organisations. "Exciting times..."
